Blinking Octave Lights

I'd really love a way to disable these very bright blinking lights on the Oct - / Oct + buttons. I can understand this would be useful in the moment while performing, but in a studio setting it's very distracting.

Take a black tape and put it over it.

They should give control over light in firmware.
