FL Studio MidiScript for Keylab Essential (and also mkII)
« on: July 21, 2021, 07:33:07 am »
Hi all,

Thought I'd post this in case anyone finds it useful. I recently ported my midi script over to Essential keyboard and have the help of a user to actively test and let me know of bugs he runs into. It features the following:

- Ability to quickly switch channel rack instruments via the navigation knob.
- Ability to quickly remap pad buttons by holding the record button and pressing a pad button, and then playing any note/sequence of notes/chords (from any channel rack, even mix and match), and then later recall them. If you have a sustain pedal, you can also trigger looping, though probably less useful.
- Ability to quickly assign 16 pages of 9 knobs / 9 sliders to any plugin parameters you like (that's 16 * 18 controllable parameters). Also, the plugins are only controlled when the channel is actively selected, so that's 16*18 controllable parameters per active plugin.
- Working Analog Lab mode integration.
- Visual metronome
- Pads light up to the color of the active channel rack track to visually indicate what instrument you're playing. Changing the channel rack track color changes the pad color when it's selected.
