Midi CC on midi pattern to simulate sequencer slide-time
« on: July 01, 2021, 12:24:14 pm »
I have a sequencer pattern that uses slide time. I want to turn that sequence to midi so I can get greater control over it. This is easy enough to do as the arp is output over midi and I can just record that in another track.

The problem is that the slide time isn't automatable so far as I can tell, and isn't output as a midi cc. Do I have to manually deal with this as pitch bend or something? Is there a neat way to do this?

Hi,

If i understand you correct, then can't you just automate "Glide"? That's the Glide Time parameter you find in the PLAY SETTINGS in the KEYBOARD section.

I think you might be right - but you need to also have the 'Always' button on otherwise it requires overlapping midi notes. I will try it out
