out of sync
« on: May 13, 2021, 10:25:31 pm »
I hope a moderator at least answers this...When I send a sequence into my DAW it records in the DAW much slower
than it plays on the key step 37...I have been speeding it up so it gets to my track at the right tempo....
what setting is wrong??? I use Cubase 11 and 120 bpm .I have the back switch on Internal on the 37..
thanks

I'll be getting a Keystep 37 in a few weeks when the Black Edition is released. From what I've read, there's a USB setting for clock so why not use that so it syncs to Cubase clock?

I have a few other controllers with arpeggiators & set them to external clock & works great (I'm also a Cubase user).

I recently bought a Keystep 37. When I first plugged the 37 sync out to the Matrixbrute sync in and pressed midi sync on the Matrixbrute, the bpm was divided by 6: a 90 bpm on the K37 resulted in a 15 bpm on the MB.

I had to set Sync in/out to 24ppq in the Midi Control Center.
