KSP clock drift
« on: May 09, 2021, 10:43:28 pm »
I noticed sometime ago that when my DAW is being synced by the KSP it cause time based effects to cause sound artifacts

E.g a echo on a synth causes clicking and strange underwater type noises. A graphical display of the echos and where they hit shows it wobbling perhaps +-1bpm. T

I've chatted to arturia help and they've suggested its a known bug and that it's on their list.

I was rather hoping that 2.0 would sort it out.

Anyone else experiencing this?

The artifacts sound like they might be errors in your plugs due to the immense jitter of the KSP.  I've had major sync issues with KSP that haven't been fixed in v.2.   I don't think it'll work as a master clock unless you want your music to sound drunk.
