Changing PCs - how to?
« on: May 03, 2021, 08:21:19 pm »
Hello all,

this may be a silly question, so apologies in advance  ;D

I'm getting a new PC soon and I will be installing all of my software anew. If I deactivate the software on my current machine, will I have the full 5 activations available again? Can I have it activated on 2 machines at the same time or is the 5 activations the total number of times I can activate the product? Thanks

P.S. Is it possible to somehow save the presets, favourites... so that they appear in my account when I install Analog Lab on my new PC?

You can have it installed on 5 products at once. Ideally you need to deactivate it on your old machine before moving to a new one. Not too long ago you could only deactivate the licence from the machine it was activated on, so if you forgot to deactivate a licence before you changed or sold a machine you would need to raise a service call with Arturia to unregister your machine. This has now been changed, you can now manage all your devices via your online account.

No your preset does'nt appear on your accounts. Purchased sound packs will show, but not the presets them self.
You can back up your preset folder, and then add it after the application install.
(It's allways a good idea to create backups, to prevent loosing data.)
