assigning macro help
« on: April 27, 2021, 08:15:05 pm »
First of all pigments is absolutely incredible! Its taken over omnisphere as #1 in my tracks, I do have a question though which I havent work out how to do yet

I want LFO1 to control the filter cutoff but have it as a macro I can increase. Ive tried a few things that havent worked - any ideas?

Hi,

I suggest you use the Sidechain possibilities.

Assign LFO to the cutoff, and then add a Macro as sidechain for the LFO modulation to control the modulation amount.

Do you mean, that you don't understand my suggestion or that you had'nt discovered this possibility before?
In case you don't understand my reply, then please read about side chain in the manual. There are also images.

Assign Macro1 to Filter Cutoff

Set a positive value, say 1.00

Side chain to LFO1

Set to positive value, say 1.00

Adjust to taste
