I got an expression pedal for xmas, thinking it would work with my MiniLab (original). Sadly, that can only take a sustain pedal.
The KSP can also only take a sustain pedal, but I'm wondering if firmware could alter that so it could take either. That'd be awesome.
I find it very odd that SOOO many controllers only take sustain pedal input. That is VERY limited in its use. An expression pedal is so so SO much more useful. I don't get it. Who really wants a sustain pedal except piano players? And an expression pedal can easily function as a sustain pedal, since it's simply off or on. That could be easily set as to how far you have to push an expression pedal to trigger/untrigger sustain.
Frustrating, for sure.
