Keylab drumpad assignment not saving in logic
« on: October 16, 2020, 03:08:21 am »
I recently updated to the newest version of logic and have been having a problem getting the assigned pads to save.  Didn't have this issue before and have been having trouble finding any solutions to my problem.

I have the keylab 49 mk2 assign pads to the spark 2 vst in Logic pro x. Able to get everything working, save it, and come back to it later and it didn't save any of the updates to the pads.

Anyone have this problem? Suggestions would be great!

Hi and welcome to Arturia forums.

Keylab MK2s pads send out midi notes, and it's mapping is stored in Keylabs own environment.
Spark2 recieve on midi notes, and that mapping is stored in Spark2s own environment.
What have Logic to do with that? Does Logic have a internal mapping for midi notes between 2 instruments? If so, then what have Arturia products to do with that?

I'm not sure, what it is, you wan't Logic to save and how. Can you please elaborate?
