Using the V7 version.
Recently found a number of old Xpander and M12 patch repositories.
In a file dated May of 2015, the following .matrix files were shared, and I have downloaded them:
Factory M12.matrix
Factory Xpander.matrix
GStormElectro.matrix
Johnson.matrix
Sanchez.matrix
Springer.matrix
Urbanek.matrix
XP_94.matrix
Xpansions.matrix
Zipper.matrix
These have been converted and supposedly worked in the Arturia collection, but this happened almost 6 years ago, so likely an earlier version of each instrument. Have discovered there is a piece of software called Preset Updater (perhaps earlier called Preset Converter), and on the Arturia site some information (all the information you need, it reads) for how to use it this piece of software. However, after hitting the SCAN button, nothing happens, except a message to the effect that no presets were found. So clearly someinformation is missing anyway.
So: where should I place these -matrix files so that the Preset Updater can find them? Entirely experimental this matter, nothing proves that a conversion from one version (of .matrix-file) to another version will make the patches visible in matrix-12V.
Any ideas here?
