More pan options in the signal path, instead of just for filters
« on: September 03, 2020, 10:31:41 am »
Currently the only way to control stereo position is via the filters, on for samples on the edit tab on a per-sample basis. I would make much more sense to me to have more options. For example, at the generator level, and even more so in the FX chain.
For example, let's say I've created a bass patch, and I want it to be subtly non-central. It would make sense to use parallel FX routing and to use each FX bus in a slightly different stereo position. I could then apply slightly different distortion in the A and B FX slots and pan them slightly left and right.
Or I could apply a narrow reverb on one FX slot and position it in the stereo field.
