Pigments in Ableton
« on: August 15, 2020, 05:03:01 pm »
Hi,

When I'm using Pigments in standalone mode I can use it without any cpu problem. When used in plugin into Ableton, some sound can't play normaly because of high CPU usage of Ableton. Thoses sounds in standalone mode work great. I have 2 PC : On one with Intel Core I5 16GB RAM everything work fine and on my laptop, Intel Core I7 16GB RAM it's not working. I have set the buffer size like 8000 (Big latency) or smal size, no way. I have check the solutions proposed (energy consuming, close all application...) whithout succes.

I'm totaly desperate with the product.

Any ideas ?

Regards

Hi and welcome to Arturia forums.

Which audio driver do you use? And which soundcard?

What's your samplerate and buffer settings in your Pigments standalone and is thsy the same in Ableton Live? Do you use the same driver and soundcard for both?
Do you run more things in Ableton Live at the same time, that also use your CPU?

If you can use Pigments as standalone, then it should work in Ableton Live too - Perhaps with a little more CPU usage.

be sure your Audio settings in Ableton Live is correct.
