Rhythmic arp mode?
« on: March 22, 2021, 03:53:33 am »
I love the arp in the KSP

But I’ve been playing a lot with my virus and recently got an afx station
I love the random octave knob etc
The way it lights up the keys
The “as played” mode

But now there’s a feature I didn’t realise I was missing!

Rhythmic arps

Both have preset rhythm’s you can change between (and the virus also lets you build your own), rather than just all 16ths or 8ths etc
Getting a baseline going with “arp hold” + some notes + a rhythm and then going to town tweaking knobs is really fun and inspiring.

Got me thinking, what if there were some preset rhythms into the KSP (maybe customisable?)
Along with the ability to change them on the fly.. Eg.. lighting up the step sequencer button to turn on or off steps? Would be amazing!

Eg. Either hold the arp button from the track and select one of 16 rhythms
Or hold the arp button for the track and it lights up the step rhythm currently playing (defaults to all steps on)

Anyone else thing this would be cool?
