MIDI Program Change
« on: June 22, 2020, 06:32:45 am »
If I'm going to be controlling multiple synths from this once device, it would be brilliant to actually be able to trigger a program change for a different set of patches as the song progresses.

I could'nt find a solutions to change programs in multimode on my kawai cn 37. That would be really nice. The Kawai cn 37 even has drumsounds.

This was another very big surprise (disappointment) from this controller.  I was gutted to find out that program changes from Cubase are not passed through the KSP and onto my synths.  They are blocked at the keyboard and simply change the pattern number instead.

There are quite a few of these unexpected shortcomings.  I would recommend making note of this through support, so it can be brought to the attention of development staff. Things like this, really need to be integrated in a future firmware update.

Agree, this could be a "master controller" but right now it feels like a controller with 4 channels.

At least give us a proper TRHU or pass the pgm changes from IN  to the OUTs

I am also hoping for this to be implemented! trying to use a foot controller to control additional parameters, but no such luck. Everyone, please write support with this request!

I have 2 synths which only interface is MIDI (one is a Ploytec PL2) so I can't use them without Program change.
