After a fellow forum member asked me why I don't use the CV, I wanted to investigate what was wrong with my Model D and KSP combination and grabbed my multimeter.

Somehow I could only measure a voltage pattern on the 3 buses from voice 1 and the drum gates.
No matter what I tried, voices 2, 3 and 4 kept showing 0 volt.
I tried changing all CV settings in MCC without luck.

Is it just me or do other users encounter the same problem?

Hi
Did you Assign the cv 2,3,4 to the sequencer playing to measure voltage ?  i have not seen any issues here.

Yes, I tried it with a sequence, arpeggio and by hand.

Is the cv assigned to the correct seq   via shift + cv routing shortcut // keys on the unit

Thanks! The shortcut resolved the issue!
Silly me, I only checked the settings in MCC and in the utility menu.

Is there a reason to turn off the CV assignment? And are there other reasons to assign the routing differently? I am a noob when it comes to CV.

As the KSP can act as a polyphonic CV controller, one of four tracks needs to act as the source for the notes.  To do this you need to assign the CV outputs all (or at least two for duophony) to the one track.  When you press and hold shift the CV voices assigned to that track will appear bright and those assign to other tracks will appear dim with those unassigned not lighting at all.  You can run two duophonic synth this way, or send three note chords to your (super expensive modular or Moog Matriarch) CV polysynth and the fourth to a bass synth.

Currently running https://www.modulargrid.net/e/racks/view/1311723 / www.modulargrid.net, sequencing with KSP and recording with a Zoom (no DAW involved, for better or worse ;) )

Thanks, for the explanation.
I understand now how to create a polyphonic CV signal.
Too bad I have only one monophonic Synth.  :'(
