Sync Delay to Midi?
« on: May 10, 2020, 04:23:00 pm »
Is it possible to sync the delay of a patch or an entire instrument to the tempo of the project playing in a DAW?

I'm trying to sync the speed of the analog delay in the Wurli V plugin to the tempo of my Nuendo project but can not get it to sync exactly.

Adjusting the delay speed knob on the pedal with a mouse is not very precise. It would be much better if every Arturia instrument could be synced to the DAW 's midi tempo.

Is there a 'midi sync' mode somewhere?

Windows-11, 64gb ram, Nuendo 11.0.41, V7 Collection, Pigments, OB-Xa, CS-80 V4.

I think Wurli 2, Stage-73, VOX Continental, Farfisa and Clavinet does'nt have any synced internal delays. So for this applications a synced delay have to be added outside the applications. It can be done by using Analog Labs delay, or by adding a delay in your DAW/ host.

But yes it would be good if all the individual applications had a synced delay.
