I'm struggling to figure out how to send program changes Pigments from Live.  I can do with NI plugs, but can't find where to setup/enable a program section in Pigments and there is no info about program changes in the manual.

Am I missing something obvious?

Hi and welcome to Arturia forums.

You can use Program Change to select presets in Playlists. (That's similar to some NI synths.)
You can use Bank Select to select Playlists.

You can read about Playlists in the manual.

Thank you!  Found it.
Coming from hardware synths, playlists was not the terminology I expected.
Works!  Appreciate it!

Hello,

I'm extremely sorry for digging up a new thread, but I have been struggling with this for days.

I have Pigments 3.5, and Ableton 10 - and I cannot work this out for the life of me...

I have setup a Playlist with 17 presets in Pigments; when I send the 'Program Change' message (lets say, program 4) from the Midi Clip the Pigments VST is on, no program change happens.
I have no problem sending midi change messages to other VSTs, or hardware synths.

I'm hoping there is something obvious I am missing.

I am using Windows 10, with the VST3 version of Pigments

Hello james 106
Live Ableton doesn't handle Program change with VST3.
If you want to make it work i suggest using the VST2 version.
Sorry for the inconvenience.

Hi and welcome to Arturia forums.

You can use Program Change to select presets in Playlists. (That's similar to some NI synths.)
You can use Bank Select to select Playlists.

You can read about Playlists in the manual.

I use Pigments 3.7 the last manual I found was 3.5 here:
https://www.arturia.com/support/downloads&manuals

The playlist area should be left below the lMy library (4.4.2. Playlists Area)
But there are neighther playlists here on Mac nor an Add Playlist button :-(
Only My Soundbanks and My Favorites

I Use Pigments in Ableton Live 11 at the moment as Apple Unit (AU).

How can I change Programs?

Hi,

Yes the manual is'nt up to date with this anymore.

If you drag a preset to the left side of the preset browser, then you create a new playlist.

Your welcome.

I can imagine it's a mistake, that the text for Playlists no longer is visible. It's not intuitive to use functionality, if it's hidden. We'll see
