AudioFuse with Xbox One S Digital Input?
« on: January 06, 2020, 03:56:38 am »
Hello,

While I enjoy studio recording and mixing, I also frequent gaming on my Xbox One S with my studio headphones and would like to use the AudioFuse as a high-end amp. I've been having some trouble getting any audio through the device to my headphones/home theatre setup and need some help.

My current setup has an optical cable running from the Xbox One to the ADAT-IN of the AudioFuse. To my understanding, the Xbox One only outputs 2-channel audio through its optical cable, thus I have set my digital inputs on the AudioFuse to SPDIF optical, yet still do not receive sound. I've also cycled through each of the Xbox's optical audio settings, varying from bitstream to stereo uncompressed. My sourcing dial is set all the way to direct. Any idea what this could be?

Try connecting your Xbox OneS to the AudioFuse using a different cable, such as an RCA or 3.5mm audio cable, to see if that helps.
