When changing the filter cutoff with my Keylab 88 II, the stepping in the filter cutoff is very audible. Perhaps software smoothing would address that. I noticed that in Moog's version of the Mini, the filter cutoff does not make any stepping sounds when changing the CC I assign to cutoff.

I don't know if this is an issue across the V-Collection, I'll have to try it out in more places... but this makes me use the Moog plugin more often, since I like to play with the filter cutoff assigned to an expression pedal.

You can ie also check, if the noise come from the waveforms used in a sound. Just to find out what you are talking about.

MiniLab 3 - Feature Requests / Scale mode

It would be nice if you could set a scale for the MiniLab 3, similar to the scale function on the MicroFreak and KeyStep 37, especially for use with chord mode.

Right now, as far as I can tell, the chord mode can only be used to play parallel chords.

The Arturia Keystep 37 can play software synths stacked on different tracks in Reaper - midi ch 2 - Can sequence an external analog hardware synth - via midi ch 1 - perfectly fine.

Pblm - Not able to sequence software synths in Reaper. What do I need to do?  Thank you.

Internal sync - tabs down. Tried switching USB ports. Closing / opening Reaper. Turning on / off AKS37. Removing / installing USB cable into AKS37/

It would help to name a factory preset that have the noise.

You say it's only on some presets, you have the noise. So it sound like it could be from the effects. It could ie be because a Distortion or a Bitcrusher effect is used.

Hi,

Well, I promise I searched for an answer but hoping maybe someone has already covered this (my arturia forum search kept choosing all million subjects/products to search)

When making sq-80 sounds, and on some presets, I have some noise. Static-y, but it's kind of hard to describe 'noise', i think everyone imagines something different.

I *think* it's from some authenticity part of the model, I think some other instruments like the DX7 have something like that, to re-create a particular grit or characteristic of the original. I keep thinking that's the case here, but I haven't been able to find a mention of it, or what it may be called so I can get straight to it. Nothing in the instrument programming is obvious enough for me to identify. I've tried isolating wave(forms) etc, to see if it's X waveform(s) that have some kind of noise, or end-tail/release 'nose' but...can't find.

If anyone know and can let me know, I'd appreciate it a lot. I also hope this isn't one infinity-long horizontal sentence because that's how it's showing up on my screen but if I add line breaks it's even worse.

Sorry, I don't know the Ni S88.

The MxB uses Bank Select MSB (CC 0) 0-15 to select the row A-P, and Program Change 0-15 to select column 1-16.

Ok so I will reply to myself in case someone needs it in the future. Actually there are parameters to choose certain category via midi. These are: "Navigate through filters" and "Add/remove selected filter". Now I can send certain CC value to choose a type and this is great.
