Post by: Mati89 on December 07, 2019, 12:27:28 am
Hello. I'm new to the forum. If he writes not in this section, I'm sorry. I am a new keylab II user. I'm learning how to use it. I would like to know what files it supports and how to install a new preset. can I convert a midi file into one that I can open in an analog lab ?? Thank you for your help.

Hi and welcome to Arturia forums.

Keylab is a controller with no sounds.
Analog Lab is a software with sounds that basicly comes from Arturias software applications in V-Collection and Pigments. Midi files is notes not sounds - unless you mean MIDI sysex files. You can't import notes or MIDI sysex files into Analog Lab. You can import MIDI sysex files in some V-Collection applications, but then you need the full versions of those applications, and sysex files for them, to be able to import them and use them.
Keylab can control Analog Lab, and other software and hardware gear that can be controlled by MIDI. Keylab does'nt support files. It only control stuff.

I suggest you read the manuals for Keylab MKII and for Analog Lab 4, and get informations from the sales sites, and get an idea about what Keylab and Analog lab is and can do. Then you can return with specific questions, if you have any.

This forum is for Analog Lab 4.
There is another forum for Keylab MKII.
