Title: Same # of fields and # of presets in AL versions?
Post by: gwp999 on November 15, 2019, 05:21:56 am
Is there any difference in # of fields and # of presets found in Analog Labs 4 vs the AL4 found in Collection V?

EDIT: I'm not sure you have access to all V-Collection presets if you only have Analog Lab. I think perhaps you has'nt. EDIT END. Have you looked at at the product pages?
EDIT2_ I've just checked. On the product pages i says Analog Lab has over 6500 presets and the V-Collection has over 8000 presets. So it's not the same amount. EDIT2 END. I'm not sure if this only is because of V-Collections included xtra soundpack, that's not a part of Analog Lab as such.
It's the same software.

Without having the full individual applications in the V-Collection, you are limited to use the parameters availble in Analog Lab. The full applications give you full control over the sounds.

Thank you for the info. (I actually did search before I posted but never found the 8000 presets)  :-[

It's possible that many presets for one instrument was duplicated for another or, some presets may not be compatible with Analog Lab.  I'd ask Arturia Support about this to get the truth.
