Title: Setup In Abelton Live 10 Lite

Hi,
    I am having multiple issues setting up this device in Ableton:

I have setup Ableton Live 10 Lite, but when i play music on the Minilab I can hear it, but it wont record the notes. The only way to record the notes is by physically clicking with my mouse. What did I do wrong? I did the Shift+F8 on the Minilab and I have pressed the record button, and armed it. I have been able to record using my computer and mouse.

Any help is appreciated.

What's the Shift+F8 good for? I assume you do this on your computer keyboard only. Perhaps this is the culprit?

I don't use Minilab or Live. I hope the above helps afterall.
