Title: Beatstep pro >>> Ipad via iTrack dock / usb midi, can't add usb hub.

Howdy, been working weeks on trying to get a set up where I can sync my Ipad with my BeatStep Pro and then record to Cakewalk on a PC, er, synced.

Have only managed to sync the BeatStep pro with the PC software using USB midi, this will work via a USB ( unpowered ) hub.

I can also get the BestStep Pro to sync with the iTrack dock, but only if the cable is direct, no hub inbetween.

Guess I'm going to try purchasing a powered USB hub and see if that makes a difference, anyone got a magical trick up their sleeve that I may not have thought of ?

Edit: Seems like the best option is / was to invest in an iConnectivity iConnect AUDIO4+.
