Hi,
I am a new microfreak user. I updated to latest upgrade.
But i’m still experiencing an annoying bug.
after a while, tweaking or not the sound, the unit becomes mute !
user interface seems to work fine but there’s no sound anymore.
should I return the unit ?

I flashed the 1.1.2.390 FW and restored the 1.1 presets.
It worked flawlessly for about 40 minutes and then the sound disapeard.
Changing preset number didn't change anything nor device reboot :o
I had to reflash FW and preset 1.1 to have sound again.
I will have to check it out again tonight and take a decision.

Yesterday, I changed the audio cable and restored the early FW and the 1.0 presets : all seemed to worked fine.
The synth entered in sleep mode within 5 minutes, leaving a sustained note.
Screen went off.
I could switch off and on again and all was still fine.
I then decided to updarde to latest FW version with 1.1 preset after : same behavior : so far so good.
I sustained my note again and the synth wen in sleep mode again, screen off.
I could switch off and on : I still don't know what really happened.
Honestly I prefer to keep a working synth at home rather than sending it back because its doesn't work.
I will do a bunch of test today again : I hope it will be OK.

Just having the same problem.
Updated to the latest firmware a few days ago, synth was working fine until today, suddenly no sound.
Maybe I will try and downgrade to the previous firmware.

I am on the latest firmware and I just started having the same Mute problem today. Please keep me posted if anyone resolves this. I've barely had the synth a month and it's already not working?

I've been advised by Arturia to return my Microfreak for repair or replacement.

I ended up having to get my MicroFreak replaced before my warranty expired. Hopefully it doesn't happen again.

Hey.
Have you made sur local control was set to ON?
If set to OFF, the MicroFreak will ignore any internal message and only respond to incoming MIDI through MIDI In and USB + CV.

I had local control off just now: thanks, Edouard ! All better now.
