Title: Keylab 88 and Cubase Pro 10
Post by: jazzdaz on July 06, 2019, 10:07:59 am
Hi,

A couple of questions whose answeres would help me greatly:

1) Is is possible, via the Midi Control Centre, to program the Keylab 88 to control CC parameters in Cubase Pro 10.

2) If it is possible, where can I find clear, easy instruction on how to do this (I.e. video, either free or paid, or even on the forum).

Cheers

It can be done from your DAW´s menu. I can do it in Reaper. As for Cubase, a quick search in youtube showed this result:

I hope that it helps.

On the kl88 you can set the controls to what ever cc you like using the mcc and then as in the video above midi learn any control in cubase 10.

regards

Thanks eddietrooper, that is a good help. Not quite there yet as the MIDI CC is new to me.

Thanks terrym.

I used the MCC and I assigned the faders to these CC's and they worked in Cubase:  Volume, Pan, Sustain, Expression. Nothing else seemed to work.   Is that correct?

I will have to study a Cubase midi learn tutorial and figure it out from the manual.
