Title: Second hand Keylab 49 (first gen) Analoglab license
Post by: daniel93 on July 03, 2019, 11:49:15 pm
Hello everybody and thanks in advance for your answers, hope this isn’t an annoying/stupid question to you. I’m considering buying a second hand Keylab 49, but the person selling it doesn’t have the unlock code to register the product anymore and I´d really don´t want to buy it without getting the license for Analoglab 2, which should be included in the original package.
So my questions are:
1.   Since on the webpage of Arturia it says that some Hardware products doesn’t need an unlock code to be registered, do I actually need an unlock code for the Keylab 49, or is the serial number enough to get the license for Analoglab?
2.   Is there any other way to download Analoglab with the unlock code missing? (Obviously in a legal way).

The current owner must've registered on Arturia's website with both the product's serial number and unlock code in order for his Analog Lab to be registered and licenced. I'm pretty sure if he logs in and raises a ticket asking Arturia to relinquish his licence, they will do.

I too bought my KeyLab 49 second hand, off eBay, but I was lucky enough to get the manual with it and the unlock code. It was of course still registered to the seller, but a quick email to Arturia containing photographic proof of both the S/N and unlock code quickly had the Analob Lab licence transferred over to me. Couple of days letter I got a snotty email from the seller saying I had no right to 'steal' the Analog Lab software from him, he had no intention of selling it with the keyboard. Whoops.  ;D
