Title: Feature request: Shift+knob = gate length

I realize the beat step is a little bit old now but I want to submit a feature request anyhow. Currently holding shift and turning a knob does nothing. It would be really great if this could instead set gate length for the step. This would give one intuitive access to both pitch and gate without having to connect to the MCC.

Yes. Please revive this dead abandoned project. New firmware, new features please!!!
