Title: About Microfreak's feature requests
Post by: Germain.arturia on May 20, 2019, 11:17:10 am
Hello everyone.
A few words about microfreak's feature requests.
First, many thanks regarding overall interest in our latest baby, much appreciated.
Regarding feature requests, you should have noticed that we are not as reactive as we would. Sorry about this, but :
- it takes quite some time to log everything as we're more focused on issues at the moment.
- During the development, betatest etc... we already logged LOTS of feature requests, and some of them are exactly what you are requesting today.

Anyway, please don't worry, anything you will post will be logged.

Thanks in advance for your understanding.
cheers,
Title: Aftertouch/Pressure Release time parameter
Post by: norbertn on April 15, 2021, 04:14:43 pm
I just thought many times, that it would be great to have a parameter that could adjust a release time for pressure, so I don't have to think about every time about smooth releasing my fingers of a keyboard.

In some circumstances the instant finger release cause a "cut" on a sound which I don't really like.

Without that release time parameter, playing live on stage with pressure is kinda risky on that keyboard.
Thats why I always turn pressure sensitivity to off when playing live, because im too afraid that some sound cuts may happen and destroy all the musical mood for listeners.

Microfreak - it's a great toy! I enjoy this synth every day.

it would be very cool to see in the next firmware:
1) more wavetables (12wt now - is too small)
2) manual editing of note duration and accents when creating sequences

3) more LFO dimensions (besides standard 1/4, 1/8, 1/16 ... plz add (.d and .t)
0) CC7 to  control output volume from an expression pedal... this has been requested by users since first firmware
But could we expect a next firmware ???

Thank you Arturia support for the custom wavetable, it a great news.

Do you planned vst/au editor for this synth?
It will be great to edit sequencer notes durations, accents and velocities

Sorry I cannot find answers! (I am a computer tech from the 80s!)
How do you start a new topic?

That would be great indeed.

I requested this kind of thing via MIDI Control Center some time ago, like we can for KeyStep. Via VST would be helpful, but I don't work from DAW.

I want to use an LFO to modulate the dice and spice.
it's good for short step ambient sequence.

Could you PLEASE unlock at least two more voices for total of 6 voices of paraphony? Sometimes (and more often lately) the 4 is not enough..... I'm not a super techie inclined but think it's not impossible software-wise. THANKS in advance!!

I wonder if you would implement 0.32v/oct for the CV output? Would be a no-brainer for using with EMS Synthi/VCS3 etc
