Title: 8 second tapes

I know that the Mellotron tapes are eight seconds.  That eight second limitation is part of the Mellotron instrument just as much as the double escapement is a part of the musicality of the piano as an instrument  But it would be great to be able to make our own tapes that aren't limited to that eight second rule.  That's a feature I would like to see. It would make for a lot of possibilities.  You could even make a tape out of an entire print so as to impart the sound of going through the Mellotron's emulated features - like putting a mix through a Pultec without using it as an EQ just to get the Pultec circuit esthetics.
