Title: Getting started in PT12 with Minilab MK2

Hi everyone,

I only just started out hooking up midi keyboards to my protools, so I got my hands on a minilab mk2.
Love it, because it’s so versatile and handy…. but I cannot seem to get it hooked up to my Protools.
Also, the device isn’t recognised by the midi control center even. Everytime I keep getting the error ‘Failed to open the device.’
Read every manual, but am probably just missing something simple.

so
1) how do I get the midi control center to work?
2) how do I get this particular midi key board hooked up to protools so it works? So far couldn’t get any sound out of it.

Hi and welcome to Arturia forums.

Perhaps you can use this guide to set up your controller in Pro Tools:

I assume you just can replace the name "Keylab MKII" with your controllers name.
