Title: Change vst patches with buttons and pads?
Post by: synthbball on February 15, 2019, 02:33:40 am
I just got the keylab 61 mk2 recently and I've been trying to figure out how to change patches in a vst with the keyboard's buttons and pads. I've tried using studio one 4 pro trial to mess around with this possibility and I was unsuccessful.

I want to be able to use a vst such as massive or kontakt and press each pad for a different patch or press a button to scroll up or down a list of patches and press a different button for a different patch.

I'm not too knowledgeable with midi programming and stuff so I'm wondering if anyone know if theres a way to program patch changes by pressing a pad or one of the buttons on the keyboard?

Hi, Synthball. Please, read my recent article and see if you are trying to do what I was asking.

If you are only trying to send specific program change messages, that's easy to do with Kontakt via Instrument Racks. I can show you how if you are interested. Please, let me know.

Best,
