So what are the differences between the V76 and the new UAD version?

...and what is the relationship between the V76 and REDD 1960s consoles? Is the V76 the preamp in the REDDs?

Hi,

Well since UAD and Arturia are differents manufacturer you should probably hear a sonic difference between the two as we probably did not emulate the hardware the same way. I guess you'll have to try them by yourself and see which one you prefer... but note that we do not require a specific hardware for ou plugin to be used ;-).
And yes the V76 (or some derivation of it) was used in the REDDs consoles.
