Title: Sustain to MIDI Note On

I just got my KeyLab MKII looking forward to play keyboard and drums on the same device. I realize the MKII is missing a function that is available in the previous version: the possibility to map the sustain pedal to a midi note!! It loses half the fun of playing drums on the new version. I wanted to map the sustain pedal to the kick drum (and possibly to do the same for HH close). Is this smth Arturia could add in a future firmware update?? Why was it removed?
