After saving a Patch in the User Library and if we had a photo in the same format as the others with the text file, can we see our personal data of Sound designers by clicking on the small yellow light bulb ?
-
I would like to be able to add an image as well. Hope Arturia can help with this.
-
C:\ProgramData\Arturia\Pigments\resources\sound_designers
You can see them.
-
I guess, only images of official Arturia sound designers will be shown?
-
Hey all,
I did a quick test, and putting any .png in in the location Jpro600k mentionned with the correct sound designer name seems to display it in Pigments:
C:\ProgramData\Arturia\Pigments\resources\sound_designers
/Library/Arturia/Pigments/resources/sound_designers
So simply make sure your presets have the same sound designer name as the picture.
EG: The image called My Name.png will be displayed in all presets containing "My Name" in the sound designer field
Make sure the size is 324x252 to avoid cropping

**EDITED TO REMOVE NAME REFERENCE** : Yes, but what if my name isn't "My Name"? :)
-
It can be any name you fill in the Sound Designer field when saving a preset, or a the right part of the preset browser when editing it.

Oh that's cool! Well done. So how will we make sure the image is included in a sound bank we make?

I think this question is especially interesting, when exporting patches, we created.

Sorry but It don't work on an Apple computer .
But I respected the size of the image and inserted it in the right place.
On the other hand, the personal comments on the patch appear.

Just to clarify, the method I gave is more of a unofficial DIY hack than a real import workflow :)
There is no other way than to manually add the file.
(+I think those might get deleted if you update the plug in)
Allowing the adding a custom bio/picture is a feature request that is already logged on our side though ! We might implement this in future versions though as usual I can not promise this will be the case.

After the last update, I confirm this .
