Title: MIDI LEARN NOT WORKING.
Post by: fenderchris on January 08, 2019, 11:47:28 am
How is it possible to use Midi Learn with this plugin??

The plugin has no Audio Settings option like all the other Arturia plugins so it is impossible to associate a midi device with it.

In section 3.3 of the User Manual it states that 'In the image above one of the parameter dials is red. That means it has already been assigned to an external MIDI control'

This is clearly not true  - just look at the picture! - As the Midi Learn feature simply does not function it is impossible to assign any of the dials to anything!

What types of DAW track can this be used with?  - The User Manual gives absolutely no information about this.

What a waste of time.

What the heck is going on here?

Hi,

Only standalone applications have Audio/Midi Settings. As Mini Filter is an audio effect, there is no standalone, hence no Audio Settings.
If you inserted Mini Filter on an AudioTrack, it is normal that you can't MIDI learn any parameters has there is no MIDI passing thru AudioTracks.
MIDI learn can be used on MIDI and Instrument track (depending on DAW).

Matthieu

In Nuendo (and probably Cubase) it does not work on Audio, Instrument or Midi tracks, rendering the feature useless.

Does this redundancy also apply to your other plugin filters?

What about the User Manual - are there any plans to correct it and make it more informative?
