Title: Matrixbrute Music
Post by: standingwave on December 28, 2018, 08:40:54 pm
Please share your Matrixbrute music here.
 I'll start:
The main riff synth is the Matrixbrute. I actually wrote the song from inspiration of the sound.
I also used AlphaJuno and Prophet 12 in the song.
 Cheers!

All sounds, except drums and 3 sampled effects, come from the Arturia Matrixbrute.

Thanks! :) Most of the Matrixbrute sound demos I've found online has harsh and unpleasant sounds.... so I made this tune to show off the softer side of the brute. :)

Here's a track that features the MatrixBrute (drone-ish sound, the solo and the chord/pad sound): https://soundcloud.com/udo-gerhards/shift-control-v2

There's more Arturia stuff on there as well (DrumBrute Impact, MiniBrute 2S).

While working on creating a large ominous sound, I used CV to control my DD7 pedal. The combination of internal delay (with modulation), the DD7 (with modulation), tape delay and springs reverb sounds so alive with the brute's VCO running through them!
 Cheers!
