Title: Keylab Essentials 49 x Juno DS
Post by: endel on November 16, 2018, 04:43:56 pm
I have a Roland Juno DS, which features great sounds and stuff.. but depending on what i'm playing (specially pop) I run outta keys/controls, so I wanted to use KLE49 controlling Juno as a secondary keyboard.

I tried with my girlfriend's piano (which is also Roland) and it worked smoothly. Not sure on what'd happen if working with a cross manufacturer setup. Has anyone here ever tried to do this?

Hi,

This should work by simply connecting the MIDI DIN output of the KLE to the MIDI DIN input of your Juno. Be sure that the MIDI channel is the same on both device (you can change the global MIDI channel of the KLE by pressing CH + one of the first 16 key).

Regards,
