Title: Was Arturia bought out by Native Instruments?
Post by: aaron aardvark on November 03, 2018, 05:44:46 pm
I have received 2 emails from Native Instruments advertising Arturia products.  What's up with that?  I know many Arturia products are NKS-ready, but does that mean Native Instruments will advertise anyone's products that are NKS-ready?

If Arturia was bought-out by Native Instruments, you'd think that there would be news of it on every synth-related interest site, like Synthtopia/Vintage Synth/Synth Anatomy/etc, on the web.  And at least some sort of announcement in the Arturia site news section, which mentions nothing about such a thing at all.

Was this take-over rumored to happen or something?

They do have somewhat of a "partnership" in that they have created some integration between Arturia products & the Native controllers.

Hi,

As Tony said, we simply do partnership and cross marketing from time to time. We did the same with Avid and other manufacturer. There is no buy-out.
