Hello - I'm experimenting with sending audio through the Brute, not necessarily to do anything crazy other than just 'colour' the audio. I've noticed that the Steiner filter produces a lot of noise, a low hum and a bit of hiss. The Ladder filter on the other hand doesn't. There's a slightly audible hiss but that's all from the Ladder.
The Steiner filter definitely has a more noticeable effect on the incoming audio than the Ladder filter does.
Does this sound about right?
Thanks!
J.

It sounds like your Steiner may be damaged. I don't have and real noise issues with mine. That being said, the Steiner is a bit more aggressive sounding than the ladder.
I would open a support ticket for your issue with Arturia, hopfully your warranty is still valid.
Good luck!

Umm, that's a bit of a concern. Thanks, I'll do that.
