Title: Sustain pedal only triggers once
Post by: travisttk on October 11, 2018, 03:20:45 pm
Hey guys, I just received my Keylab essentials today and I've been trying to figure this out for couple of hours now and can't seem to find the solution.

So I realised that my Korg DS1H pedal isn't sending any signals when plugged in to the keylab. However, when I remove and plug the pedal jack into the sustain input, I see a Midi signal in the Midi control center and also it sends a signal when I press the pedal but only once. So it only works once when I remove and plug the pedal in again. Anyone has a solution to this?

Additional note: when i plug out the pedal it appears on the screen, sus-pedal val:0 and when i plug it in and press the pedal, val:127

Hi,

Unfortunately the Korg DS1H is one of few sustain pedals that send a smaller voltage than the usual and this voltage is not on the range expected by the KeyLab Essential. So for now there is no way to make the DS1H working with our controler.
I'll warn the dev team about that but I don't know what will be done for now.

Regards,

Matthieu

Yeah figured I should just get another sustain pedal then. Thank you

I've had some problems with the pedal (boss fs-7), and I solved it plugging it before connecting the KeyLab to the computer.

I guess it’s safe to say that this still holds true for the KeyLab MKii :-\ been trying to get it to work for hours too - will get a new pedal ASAP and hopefully that works, fingers crossed.
