Title: SparkLE controller connection fail when using Digital Performer (Windows)

Anyone know how to get the SparkLE controller to work in Digital Performer 9 (windows 64-bit).  Also get a "connection failed".

Been reading you need to "disable" the controller with other DAWs, but I cannot figure out how to do that in DP - and I've a pretty avid DP user and this has me stumped. Why doesn't Arturia tell people how to do this somewhere in the manual or online? Seems to be problem for all DAWs.
