Title: Metronome apparently broken
Post by: Stakker on August 13, 2018, 05:56:53 pm
Hi

Just got my DrumBrute Impact and it's AWESOME – but the metronome seems to be busted :-(

No sound, just a high whine when I turn the metronome volume high enough. No difference if it's on or off, I can still hear the whine. If I connect headphones, the whine is removed from the main out but is still heard from headphones (but no click.)

Bought it from Thomann, so I guess I'll just return it, but I thought I'd mention it here too.

This sucks, I've been waiting to get this thing for a long time :-/ Oh well.

BTW: when I first booted up the device, it said E87 or something like that... possibly an error code?

Cheers

Upgraded firmware to 1.0.2.41, didn't help.

Hi Stakker,
Unfortunately, I guess your device has a hardware fault... You should return it.

Regards,
Y.

Got the replacement Impact and the metronome works. But this time step button 16 is broken. See the other topic which I created, since it's a new issue.
