Why all my Essential Keylab 49 keys doesn't work in ableton 10? But if I open Analog Lab separetly it works perfectly. What's the issue?
-
Hi,
It must be a configuration issue. Can you please show a screenshot of the midi panel of Ableton Live ? (inside the preferences panel).

Matthieu

Here's screenshot of my ableton midi settings...

It can't work that way. Please set the configuration as shown on my screenshot and it should run without issues.
- On the control surface you must chose the Port 2 for the Input and Output
- On the MIDI Ports, only active Track and Remote for the Input
Remove every other unneeded connection.

Hi,
Nop your topic is still open : https://forum.arturia.com/index.php?topic=93126.msg150563#new
You are running Live 9.7.1.
The script of Live for the KeyLab Essential was released for the 9.7.4 version. Please, update to the latest version to see the KeyLab Essential control surface.

Matthieu

Hi
Just updated to Ableton 10.0.2 and it still not working.. Same story :(
MIDI Config as picture, and everything seems ok, but cannot control my DAW
-
Are you sure you have selected the KeyLab Essential on the control surface setting ? With the DAW In and Out port (or Port 2 on PC) ?
Please, show me a screenshot of your midi configuration.

I had this issue with Ableton Live 11. Everything was working on the controller, except all of the actual keyboard keys. These were working fine outside Ableton, eg. in the standalone Analog Lab software. To fix it, I had to change the "Monitoring" setting on the channel to "in". This can be found on the main controls for each track, between the 2nd and 3rd dropdown menus (screenshot below). Hopefully this helps someone with the same problem.
