Title: What causes the overtones on this pure sine wave?

Hey guys

Just wondering what causes the overtones on this pure, unfiltered sine wave at 440 Hz. I can't see any mention of aliasing in the manual, which is what I'm guessing it is. DAC Res is set to Modern.

DX7 V top, Ableton Operator bottom:

Hi,

Even in Modern DAC Mode, we are still emulating the behavior of the old chip of the original hardware, hence the aliasing that you can see on your spectrum analyzer.
