Hi,
I buy that device used last christmas. Was in mint condition, very few times used and is worked fine if i dont count some clock inaccuracy, but thats minor bug for me.
Has freezed two times in half year and one time it does what it wants but after power off cycle works like charm again.
Today morning when im in mood of some holidaymorning jam it wont boot up.
Does that led boot show and then blinks all leds like it does early too but after those all leds go dark and computer wont regognize it. Tried external usb power and powerbank and still not boot up.
It has newest firmware and have worked fine with it. I make hardware reset to it which going thru well but after that same boot issue.
Is there any things i can test or is it useless now?
Im in lack off good midi-keyboard and was thinking between keylab and akai pro products, seems like i now fear to buy keylab ???

Hi slugi,
if i dont count some clock inaccuracy
I am not aware of clock inaccuracy bug. If you mean the displayed tempo moves when slaved to something, this is called jitter and the fault is from the master device side (even if it is a computer).
For your issue, try booting in bootloader mode (RECORD + STOP + PLAY -> Switch On) and try upgrading the firmware again (it should be recognized by the MCC).
Tell me if this helps.

Y.

Clock things are getting better with last updates.
Now BSP is on Upd mode and Computer says unrecognized device is attached and MCC unable to recognize it. I have updated BSP firmware at least two times with this computer so computer isn't problem.
Keystep which i also have shows up like it should. In computer and in MCC
Tried also on laptop and same problem there.
I hope there is third thing to test too :-\

Have you tried with another USB cable?
Do you use a PC or a Mac?
-
I have tested both BSP provided cable and Keystep provided, and keystep works on both and BSP wont.
PC / Windows 10 and USB2 port
-
So I guess your BSP USB connector is defective...

And how computer recognizes there is something connected if it does not work?
And power is provided, it should work only 5V and no data.
And in addition that device have been in my table same spot last 2 months so no stress to connector.
Worked fine last weekend.
So sad, it looks still like new.

I understood it was not recognized.
And power is provided, it should work only 5V and no data.
Data can be broken on the plug and not the +5V
Do you use a hub?
-
I dont use hub. And i mean BSP should work without usb-data at all..
usb connector looks just what it should, its not bended or anything.
Windows recognizes that something is connected but cant retrieve any information about it, like model or anything. Just say unknown device(cant retrieve information)
Maybe BSPs usb chip or other chip is failed?
Nothing can do because seller doesnt have receipt anymore?
