Title: MIDI OUT (USB) / MIDI IN simultaneously
Post by: Sicko on June 02, 2018, 01:15:51 am
Hello,

I'm having troubles trying to get a proper USB workflow between a microbrute and a MPC X.
To send midi messages from the Microbrute to the MPC X i'm using the USB/Midi port of the brute pluged into a USB port of the MPC that receives MIDI ( but doesn't seem to send MIDI).. so i play let's say a bassline on the synth.. and the sequencer of the MPC records it
Now when i press play i would like my MPC to send back messages to the brute so it plays the notes ( seems like the ordinary MIDI routine).. but it seems that this creates some kind of loop in the synth..or let's say a traffic jam resulting in a messy sound.. but not the cool messy.. the ugly distorded f..d up one..
In order to get things working well i have to have only one og thosetwo cables pluged at a time..pretty annoying right ?

Am i missing something here ?

thank you
