Title: firmware update error Microbrute
Post by: an3z on May 26, 2018, 07:10:51 pm
Just bought a microbrute and would like to update the firmware but I keep getting the following message in the Midi Control Center:

''There was an error during the burn process: Update failed''  (OK)

After clicking the (OK) button it gives me the following message:

''Device currently in bootloader mode. Please update firmware.''

I keep going around in circles getting these same messages every time i try to update.

Anybody have a clue how to solve this problem?

Help would be much appreciated!

Thanks!

I experience the same, but on a BeatStep Pro.  :(

That message seems to appear if your using an Apple computer, try updating the firmware on a PC.

Also, if your sequencer stops working, try putting the switch in "Play" mode while adjusting the MIDI control centre settings.

I have a similar issue, I've updated the micro, but it still says a new version is available... I keep updating, but it won't install the newer version... that is available.
