I just got my Brute a few weeks ago, and I LOVE IT. However, my biggest issue is connecting and recording with it in Logic. I obviously wanted this machine for the sounds, but I want to track said sounds, and maybe most importantly use effects such as chorus and delay that this thing desperately needs! My setup is as follows:
Brute plugged into macbook via usb
Line out to interface input (M Audio Fast Track)
I finally got it to work as an external midi instrument in Logic, but tracking has been a nightmare, and I can only here a plugin on the source if i crank my mix knob all the way right, effectively panning it hard right. I'm a newbie as far as recording hardware synthesis into a DAW. I've previously only ever worked with a midi controller and plugins for synth. I know I must be making a simple error somewhere, but any help would be greatly appreciated. I just want to unlock the full potential and showcase these analog sounds!
