Hi to all.
I noticed in the manual that screenshots show the patching cables, while, when I load any preset, they will not show. If I put virtually a cable between a source and a destination, I hear the effect, but the cable remains invisible.
This is really uneasy to work with. Is there a switch or something I'm missing to activate cable visibility ?
Thanks in advance.

Hi,
The cables should be visible.
Perhaps try and uninstall and reinstall Buchla Easel V.
Here is directions to remove Arturia software properly: https://www.arturia.com/faq/installation/uninstall-remove-a-software
Let's know if it helps.

Thanks (and Darn !). I was hoping I had not to resort to that end...

Hi Malhomme,
in order for me to investigate, can you please tell me more about your computer setup/specs,
and does this "missing cables" happens using standalone app or in DAW, and which DAW?
we recently learned that using the Buchla Easel V in FL studio (with detached mode enabled) will display the GUI without the cables. But please rest assured, a fix is on the way, should be available before end of january.
best,

Hi,
I am running on Cubase 8.5 on win 7, but VST3 or standalone doesn't change anything.
Uninstalling/reinstalling did nothing.
I opened a ticket and got the following answer : it is indeed a known issue, and will be addressed in a new version this week or next week.
I am puzzled though that not everyone seems to encounter this.

Hi Malhomme, thanks for this useful information.
With this, i managed to reproduce it by disabling my embedded video chipset on a win 7 setup.
Could you please tell me more about your graphics card, is your video driver up-to-date?
TIme to fix it!
we keep in touch.

Hi.
I think my video card is a rather old ATI Radeon HD4670. I never consider drivers, since I bought the machine as is from an audio computer company. I will
check for drivers.

Well that was the solution ! Thank you very much for this because I would never have thought about it. I guessed it ran on generic microsoft drivers drivers all this time.
Of course it also cured some video issues I had in Cubase when working on music for movies.
Thanks again !
