Fora membesr,
I have a question regarding the use of the optcal digital audio connection.
I have my cd player Marantz 63 se hooked up to the Audiofuse using a Tos Male cable, out from cd player in to Audiofuse. Unfortunally no sound.
Nor in direct nor in computer modus.
Probably have to change parameters in the Audiofuse software, but which?
Can someone direct me for both direct and for computer modus?
thank and regards, Mischa

Hi,
Did you have set the Digital Input to S/PDIF Optical in the AudioFuse Contrl Center ?

Matthieu

Hello Mischa, and welcome on this board.
with your marantz cd player connected to the AudioFuse ( optical out of your cd player to optical in of your AudioFuse), you'll next have to go in AudioFuse control center and set "Digital in" to "spdif optical"
please note that to fully hear what's coming into your AudioFuse, you have to set the direct/computer wheel on "direct"
also the spdif optical is FULLY supported up to 96khz samplerate
playing music on your Cd player , then you should see the spdif vumuters move in direct monitoring mix panel, downside of the AudioFuse Control Center.
hope it helps,
feel free to come back to me if needed,
best regards,

Thanks Germain and Matt for your quick response, due to work I tested it last weekend. Record player is also working via direct.
Is there a way to directly record in to my DAW(Bitwig 2)?
Thanks and regards.

HI Mischa,
it should not be a problem either.
just create an audio track in bitwig 2 and set it to receive audio from audiofuse outputs 7-8.
best,
